Let me tell you some stories and then it will all make sense to you. In the first few months of our existence, we have experienced customers that:
- Twitter about us without we asking them;
- TrustPilot us even before our requesting email being sent; shot us into the top scoring web shop in TrustPilot within 5 months among 70 other vendors in the same category;
- Over 50% of them made their first TrustPilot review (for our sake);
- Sent links of products they found on other sites and asked us to get that for them;
- Mailed us about their needs and asked us to find the products that could solve their problems;
- SMS us when they had a product on their mind before they checked on other vendors;
- Called and asked where could they review us;
- Suggested us to print our name card so they can give to their networks ...
These encounters warmed our hearts and helped us to turn one thing around.
We often heard people talks about customer services. Some even said that business has to over-perform in order to retain their customers. Yet we have experienced the opposite. It's our customers that are over-performing. They did more than what they have to or should do. They showed us, out of their hearts, that they trust and appreciate us. As human. To human.
